Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Business Development Manager 2 to lead strategy and growth for Air Force Solid Rocket Motor programs. The role will drive capture efforts, coordinate proposals, and align offerings with strategic customers across multiple sites in Utah.

The successful candidate will manage cross-divisional pursuits, engage customers, and shape growth plans while ensuring compliance with DoD policies and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 years of aerospace experience involving government procurement of weapons systems.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in capture management, business development, project/program management or engineering.
• Ability to conduct independent initial technical and concept discussions.

Responsibilities

• Managing task distribution and workflow that support proposals for new and follow-on business.
• Actively communicate, interface and follow-up with customer community and stakeholders.
• Conduct initial technical discussions with Space Science and Technology community.
• Translate customer needs into requirements and manage captures to market products and capabilities.
• Oversee the Northrop Grumman BAP steps and grow customer intimacy.
• Assist capture/proposal managers with proposals and execution.
• Participate in key capture pursuits.
