City Science seeks a tenacious Business Development Executive to drive value propositions and close deals across urban systems, energy, transport and planning markets. You will originate leads, run discovery meetings, deliver presentations and craft proposals, reporting progress to the central team.

Based near Exeter or willing to travel to Exeter monthly, with UK-wide travel as needed. A strong technical or scientific background and robust communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in business development or sales in software or technical markets.
• Ability to run compelling sales conversations and pitches.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.

• Develop and create content for new value propositions.
• Originate leads with cold and warm outreach campaigns.
• Lead client discovery meetings to understand challenges.
• Lead client presentations and demos.
• Draft high-quality proposals and tenders.
• Manage the sales process from first contact to close.
• Report progress across the pipeline clearly.
• Conduct market research and value proposition development.
• Understand why customers buy across urban systems.
