Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group in the United States is seeking a Business Development professional to grow oligonucleotide and peptide CDMO services (TIDES). You will cultivate relationships with prospective and existing clients and manage clinical-to-commercial accounts within the US BD team.

Responsibilities include hunting new leads, presenting WuXi TIDES services, attending conferences, following up on inquiries, and maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry and business training; PhD highly desired.
• 4–8 years in oligonucleotide/peptide development or CRO/CMO.
• Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• CRM experience with Salesforce or MS Dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hunt and prospect for oligonucleotide and peptide CDMO opportunities.
• Cultivate prospective and existing client relationships within the US BD team.
• Present WuXi TIDES services to clients via email, phone, and web meetings; travel to client meetings when possible.
• Attend tradeshows and conferences to generate leads and raise WuXi TIDES profile.
• Document information in CRM including contacts, leads, and accounts.
