The WuXi AppTec Group is seeking a US-based business development professional to uncover and cultivate opportunities in oligonucleotide and peptide CDMO services within WuXi TIDES and STA Pharmaceutical. You will pursue new clinical-to-commercial leads, manage accounts, and help resolve customer inquiries from the US BD team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry; PhD highly desired.
• 4–8 years in oligonucleotide/peptide CDMO or CRO/CMO.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management.
• CRM experience preferred (Salesforce or MS Dynamics).

Responsibilities

• Hunting and prospecting for oligonucleotide and peptide new drug development contacts.
• Obtain conferences and meetings to present WuXi TIDES services to clients.
• Attend tradeshows to raise WuXi TIDES profile and generate leads.
• Refer and follow-up on leads from sales and marketing campaigns.
• Increase awareness of WuXi TIDES marketing initiatives and webinars.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and market growth.
• Develop industry contacts via LinkedIn and other networks.
• Document information in CRM with contacts and leads.
