Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care in Salem, VA is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral and therapeutic support, including assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based ABA interventions. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with ASD to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs
• Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Design and implement evidence-based ABA interventions tailored to each client
• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to reflect progress
• Apply ABA techniques to improve social, communication, academic, and daily living skills
• Implement strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote positive changes
• Collect and analyze data on behavior and progress to evaluate effectiveness
• Maintain detailed records and prepare reports to track patient progress
• Educate and support parents and caregivers in understanding ASD and implementing strategies at home
• Provide guidance on managing challenging behaviors and enhancing communication and social skills
• Work closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators to ensure cohesive care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and share insights to optimize care plans
• Supervise and mentor RBTs and other staff, providing training and feedback
• Conduct regular performance reviews and offer professional development opportunities
• Engage with community resources to enhance social and environmental integration
• Ensure interventions adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Stay current with developments in behavior analysis and autism treatment
• Address crisis situations effectively with de-escalation techniques
• Complete daily clinical documentation in SpringHealth’s EHR
• Assist in developing staff training materials to enhance programs
• Continued education on behaviorally based interventions
• Complete monthly & quarterly notes for client progress
