Job summary

Helping Hands Family in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a BCBA to deliver high-quality ABA services to children with autism in our clinic-based program. You will supervise up to 5 RBTs, manage a caseload of up to 10 clients, and collaborate with Clinical Directors to ensure best practices.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification from BACB.
• State Licensure where required.
• ABA experience (RBT background a plus for new BCBAs).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a clinic-based setting.
• Passion for ethical, client-centered ABA in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to children with autism.
• Manageable Caseload: Up to 10 clients, completing 28 billable hours in a 40-hour week (note: billable hours are not tied to pay).
• Work with children ages 2–18, most under age 6
• Supervise and develop up to 5 RBTs
• Conduct assessments, write individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress
• Collaborate with Clinical Directors, fellow BCBAs, and Regional Directors of Quality to troubleshoot cases and uphold best practices
• Maintain ethical documentation and compliance with BACB and state guidelines
