Job summary

Connecticut Education Center seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for its Enfield and East Hartford private schools in Connecticut. The role supports the Clinical Director and Education Administrator, delivering ABA assessments and services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders within a school setting.

The incumbent will develop educational activities, observe and assess student progress, and collaborate with the education team to ensure effective plans.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from an accredited university.
• BCBA Certification required and maintained at all times.
• At least 1 year experience providing ABA services to children/adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented to collect quantifiable data for evaluation of behavior plans and goals.
• Assists with developing educational data tracking including discrete trials.
• Provides ongoing support to Floor Managers and Interventionists on implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and data systems.
• Collaborates with parents/caregivers to address student progress and create effective plans.
• Manages caseload and prepares documentation; participates in IEP meetings and completes IEP documentation.
• Possibility of providing clinical supervision to BCBA candidates.
