Job summary

Golden Steps ABA is seeking a BCBA to lead evidence-based, hierarchical ABA programming tailored to each client. You will base plans on data, progress, and ongoing assessments, and supervise RBTs on the caseload.

You will also provide family guidance, communicate with the treatment team, and collaborate with external providers. The role includes initial intake, ongoing assessments, and discharge planning; a hybrid schedule is offered and reliability in commuting is required.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification by BACB or sitting for BCBA exam within one month
• LBA (if applicable)
• Background check required
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Must have reliable car and driver's license for commuting
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and ABA

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful, evidenced-based, hierarchical programming based on data, progress and assessment of the client.
• Provide ongoing training and supervision to the RBTs on patient caseload.
• Provide on-going family guidance necessary for programming success.
• Conduct consistent communication with treatment team members.
• Participate in collaborative efforts with other service providers outside of Golden Steps.
• Review data regularly and communicate findings to the team.
• Maintain professional boundaries as indicated by the BACB.
• Perform comprehensive initial intake and recurring assessments.
• Discharge and transition planning for children on caseload.
• Other tasks as assigned.
