Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral and educational interventions for students in Grades K-12. You will train teachers, model best practices, and oversee quality assurance to ensure compliance with standards and positive student outcomes.

This role requires a BCBA credential (current or in process), a Master’s degree in a related field, and the ability to lead staff development, implement FBAs and BIPs, and

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral health, special education or a closely related field.
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a BCBA credential.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training.
  • Prior experience in providing behavioral support to children, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive training and guidance to teachers and staff in designing FBAs and BIPs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of instructional and behavioral support services.
  • Support staff by modeling and enhancing instructional best practices.
  • Research, develop, and deliver targeted training programs to address skill gaps.
  • Participate in staff development initiatives and professional training sessions.
  • Coach staff in crisis prevention and management strategies to foster a safe learning environment.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff training.
  • Evaluate curricula and resources aligned with standards and objectives.
  • Develop and supervise systems to support students, classrooms, and sites.
  • Attend in-person meetings and collaborate with teams on plan execution.
  • Conduct ongoing quality assurance assessments and provide actionable feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to DOE guidelines and internal standards.
