Job summary

University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to assess, develop treatment programs, monitor progress and supervise clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols for children with autism and related developmental disabilities in clinic, home, and community settings.

The BCBA will design treatment plans, analyze data, and ensure effective implementation across settings, collaborating with families and treatment teams to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BACB) certification.
• Behavior Analyst License from the Mississippi Autism Board.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to develop treatment plans for skill development and behavior reduction.
• Analyze data to determine function of problem behaviors.
• Define target behaviors in measurable terms and design data collection.
• Apply strategies to reduce problem behaviors and teach replacement skills.
• Ensure behavior support plans address function of behavior.
• Train and supervise staff and families in plan implementation.
• Provide supervision of RBTs as per BACB guidelines.
• Monitor progress notes and maintain progress documentation.
