Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a Sales Engineer in Western Pennsylvania to be a technical resource for the field sales team. You will actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, serving as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our solutions.

You will explain technology and product positioning to both business and technical users while ensuring customer satisfaction through all sales stages.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience working with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role.
• Proven track record in software sales.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking technology: LAN/WAN, switching, routing.
• Security technologies: Firewalls and filtering; Cloud.
• Strong presentation and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
• Present the product to customers and at field events and conferences.
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
• Travel throughout the sales territory.
