Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking an Account Manager for the Bay Area to drive field-based sales, visit top labs and key accounts on-site. You will build relationships with decision-makers, demonstrate products, and coordinate with Marketing and Inside Sales to close opportunities.

The role requires a minimum of a science degree and 2+ years of field sales with strong in-person engagement. Some travel and on-site demos are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field is required.
• 2+ years of field sales experience in person.
• Geographic territory coverage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify sales leads through in-person prospecting and lab visits.
• Close profitable business by meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Manage key accounts with on-site presence as primary engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Inside Sales for opportunities.
