Job summary

Foxcove is seeking a Field IT Support Technician to travel to Bay Area client offices and deliver hands‑on IT support across workstations, networks, printers, and cloud services. This entry‑level role emphasizes rapid growth into broader IT skills while working directly with clients on site.

You will rotate through SF, Foster City, Burlingame, and San Jose locations, with 4–5 days of travel weekly. A driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for daily site visits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technology support experience, with a strong desire to grow quickly.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting, plus a ticketing system.
• Comfortable picking up new platforms quickly and gaining exposure to Azure, SharePoint Online, Office 365, GSuite, MDM tools, and ITSM platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
• Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non‑technical people.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to client offices throughout the Bay Area (SF, Foster City, Burlingame, San Jose), 4–5 days per week.
• Provide on‑site, hands‑on support for a range of IT issues, from basic troubleshooting to system configuration.
• Handle onboarding and offboarding for client employees — account setup, equipment provisioning, access changes.
• Provide in‑person, walk‑up IT support at client sites, resolving tickets escalated from our help desk team.
• Support on‑site network troubleshooting and basic network management.
• Maintain clear documentation and flag recurring issues or areas for improvement across client systems.
• Assist Engineers and Managers on larger projects and initiatives as your skills grow.
• On non‑travel days, handle remote ticket resolution, project work, and documentation from home.
