Rivian Automotive in Normal, IL seeks a Group Leader to supervise technicians and teams on site, driving training, scheduling, and continuous improvement. You will lead processes, coordinate with the Battery Operations Manager, and support pilot programs while ensuring safety and efficiency in a high-volume environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of leadership in manufacturing, a technical degree preferred, and strong knowledge of SAP and MRP systems, Kaizen, and project management.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing with leadership
• Engineering or Technical bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience with MRP software such as SAP preferred
• Kaizen / continuous improvement experience
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Working knowledge of Google docs/sheets/slides

Responsabilidades

• Direct supervision of Technicians, Team Leaders, and Team Members
• Train, develop, teach, and evaluate employees
• Coordinate with production managers on schedules and support
• Perform and teach department processes, fill in as needed
• Support pilot programs and change activities
• Monitor and control capital and expense spending
• Determine team member activity
• Plan battery team agenda and schedule performance
• Identify and implement processes and equipment improvements
