Jamail & Smith Construction is expanding into Louisiana and seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in Baton Rouge. You will drive scope, cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating with clients, designers, and subs.

The role emphasizes establishing relationships with local clients and trade partners, delivering projects in occupied facilities, and growing the Louisiana market presence for public-sector work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience with JOC, CSP, and other fast-paced public-sector methods is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple JOC and commercial construction projects from scope through closeout.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with superintendents to plan manpower, logistics, and field execution.
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Build relationships with Louisiana subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure work in occupied facilities meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
