Ratcliff Construction Company, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for commercial construction, based in Alexandria, LA or Baton Rouge, LA. You will own project performance, manage budgets, schedules, quality, and client satisfaction while coordinating with superintendents, owners, architects, and vendors.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and problem-solving to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing projects for a commercial general contractor is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, cost management, and project documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of overall project performance including budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, contracts, scopes, commitments, and performance.
• Partner with the Superintendent to align field and office operations.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear, consistent communication with owners and teams.
• Identify issues early and take action before they grow.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay apps, and closeout.
• Monitor project financials and protect the project and company.
• Build strong relationships with clients and project partners.
• Hold yourself and others to a high standard of quality and professionalism.
