Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a production teammate to support batching and processing operations. You will weigh ingredients, document weights and lot numbers, and ensure accurate traceability throughout the batch process.

The role requires careful handling of containers, proper labeling, and adherence to safety and housekeeping standards. Daily duties include operating pumps for syrups and oils, communicating with supervision, and maintaining clean work areas.

Responsibilities

• Review batch sheets.
• Confirm RM #'s and Lot #'s and contact supervisor with discrepancies.
• Accurately weigh ingredients and label containers for traceability.
• Close containers and drums, clean residue before returning to warehouse.
• Keep scoops and containers clean and in good condition.
• Check accuracy and cleanliness of the scale.
• Maintain clean pre-weigh area, pallets and slip-sheets.
• Maintain continuous communication with the Process Lead or Supervisor.
• Make swings for production or CIP and maintain housekeeping during swings.
• Clean totes, buckets and scoops after batching and store properly.
• Seal and label ingredients for return to warehouse.
• Know which ingredients can be combined and which kept separate.
• Operate liquid pumps for syrups and oils.
• Weigh ingredients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Document weights and lots on batch sheets and sign off.
