You will help with intake, follow-up, scheduling, and resource navigation to support food, housing, clothing, and other basic needs.

The role focuses on front-line support, coordinating appointments, and ensuring students access timely resources.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to respond effectively and sensitively to students experiencing heightened emotional situations.
• Ability to work in fast-paced work environment.
• Experience working with basic needs or in college setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Student Intake and Follow-Up: Review, screen, and respond to students’ responses to various intake forms and referrals. Follow up with students as needed to ensure completion of forms and next steps.
• Communication, Resource Navigation, and Appointment Support: Respond to emails from students, campus staff and faculty, and community members regarding The Spot and the services provided. Answer phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and schedule appointments for services. Schedule and assist with diaper, clothing, food bag, and case management support appointments.
• Emergency Housing Support: Identify students’ needs and assist in determining appropriate housing support. Services include short-term hotel stays and housing stipend program. Complete all processes and procedures for each program as appropriate. Maintain communication with MSW Case Management Support and other BasicNeeds Staff on student cases.
• Program In-Reach/Outreach: Support program visibility by assisting with campus in-reach and community outreach efforts, such as campus resource fairs and distribution of informational materials.
