Job summary

California State University, Fullerton is seeking an Assistant Director of Basic Needs Services to oversee non-clinical case management and direct support for students facing food, housing, and financial insecurity. You will coordinate campus and community resources, lead program development, and ensure compliance with systemwide initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in counseling or student services, excellent collaboration skills, and a commitment to inclusive student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field plus upper division or graduate course work in counseling techniques, interviewing, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional case management and student support services to students experiencing basic needs insecurity.
• Coordinate services with campus and community partners; monitor student progress and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain Basic Needs Services programs, outreach, and training for faculty, staff, and students.
• Ensure compliance, assessment, evaluation, and reporting for Chancellor’s Office initiatives and grants.
