Job summary

Pueblo Community College, part of the Colorado Community College System, seeks a Coordinator for Basic Needs to oversee a grant-funded program and lead the Basic Needs Center, coordinating services for students across PCC campuses.

The role requires collaboration with success coaches and college staff, with policy development and budget oversight, and a focus on student outcomes. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience working with underserved populations and college students.
• Data collection and analysis experience.
• Experience in a social service-related position.
• Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presenting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and operates the Basic Needs Center as part of the Student Support and Outreach department.
• Creates policies and procedures related to the Center and its services.
• Oversees the budget and all expenditures, collects data, and writes/submits periodic reports.
• Provides direct support to students and coordinates services with other staff at PCC’s main and satellite campuses.
• Develops guidelines and applications for support and works with the marketing department to ensure the program reaches targeted students.
• Plans and markets workshops for students.
• Develops pre- and post-surveys of students served.
• Works with the Steering Committee to analyze programs and make decisions.
• Collaborates with the Office of Institutional Research to analyze program outcomes.
