Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Production Assistant for Base Technical Operations at the DFW area. You will provide clerical support to the Maintenance Base team, manage reports, and assist with WorkBrain system tasks while coordinating with internal staff and visitors.

The role requires High School completion, Office experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will handle sensitive information and potentially irregular shifts, contributing to smooth maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Office experience is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle payroll information.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains department reports, including weekly headcount.
• Supports WorkBrain maintenance: time coding, schedules, overtime, shifts, vacations.
• Maintains confidential employee files and payroll records.
• Provides front desk telephone coverage and inquiries.
• Greets and directs base employees and external visitors.
• Maintains office supplies and initiates orders when needed.
• Submits transactions for system access and password resets.
• Sorts and files data; interacts with management and staff.
• Type 25-49 words per minute; work any shift including nights and weekends.
