Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a BAS Controls Technician II in Dallas, TX to install, test, calibrate, operate and repair control systems and related software/hardware.

The role guides entry-level technicians and ensures timely delivery of projects and services on scenic commercial sites. The position requires 3+ years of hands-on control installation, HVAC knowledge, and proficiency with Niagara AX/N4, Distech, Siemens, and Schneider Electric platforms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in control installation.
• Experience troubleshooting low-voltage systems.
• HVAC knowledge including AHUs and VAVs.
• Familiarity with Niagara Tridium AX/N4, Distech, Siemens, Schneider Electric.
• Proficient in A/C fundamentals and low-voltage DC circuits.
• Hands-on with control platforms such as Siemens, Distech, JCI, Inet.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ethical business practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate, operate, and repair control systems and software.
• Lead and support entry-level technicians on projects.
• Perform pre-functional testing and address deficiencies in control logic.
• Set up and troubleshoot BACnet MSTP/IP and Modbus networks.
• Read submittals, correct deficiencies, and redline docs.
• Prepare daily project status reports for supervisors.
