Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL seeks a skilled Building Automation Technician to design, program, repair and maintain complex BAS and environmental monitoring systems. The role requires experience with low voltage systems, DDCS, and building infrastructure.

Candidate must be ready to respond to service calls and support on-site operations. Associate degree or equivalent certification plus 2+ years of relevant experience; Niagara Ax/N4 certs preferred and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 year vocational certificate with minimum 2 years experience in low voltage building systems or 5 years in programming, installation and maintenance of building infrastructure.
• Certification in Niagara Ax or N4 within 6 months of hire is required.
• Familiarity with NFPA codes and regulatory standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls for preventive and corrective maintenance on building controls systems.
• Designs and creates sequences of operation for building systems.
• Provides coordination and support for startup and commissioning with staff, contractors, and vendors.
