Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Building Automation Systems technician to service and troubleshoot building automation systems on customer sites. You will repair or replace components, adjust BAS programs, and ensure systems operate to meet client requirements.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year technical degree and 3+ years of industry experience, with strong knowledge of building mechanical systems and excellent communication skills. On-call rotation and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree in electronics, electrical engineering, instrumentation, computer science, automation engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and quick learning are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service on building automation systems, controls, instrumentation and other low voltage building systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace elements of the controls system.
• Adjust BAS parameters or modify BAS programs to resolve automation issues and meet customer requirements.
