Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled technician to service building automation systems and related low voltage infrastructure in client facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and adjust BAS programs to meet customer requirements while following Johnson Controls and customer safety standards.

The role requires a technical degree and hands-on experience, with on-call rotation and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4 years – technical degree in electronics or electrical engineering, instrumentation, or automation engineering.
• 3 years – industry experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform service on BAS and other low voltage building systems in customer buildings.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace elements of the BAS.
• Adjust BAS parameters and programs to resolve issues.
• Adhere to safety standards.
• Communicate with the FM team at shift start and end.
• Interpret schematics and diagrams to resolve BAS issues.
• Complete certifications and maintain technical proficiency.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and audits for cyber-security risks.
• Support Integrated Operations Centre and other facilities.
• Investigate energy conservation measures with energy manager.
