The Beverly Hills Hotel, a Dorchester Collection property, seeks a Supper Club Bartender to join its new luxury dining concept. You will craft bespoke cocktails, provide discreet, high-end service, and uphold the hotel’s standards while engaging guests in a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional and personalized bar experience to every guest, bringing craft, confidence and discretion to each interaction while maintaining a safe and immaculate environment throughout their shift.
• Keep the bar area pristine and impeccably presented at all times, in accordance with food safety guidelines and local health department requirements.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and account for discrepancies in the final drawer tally.
• Handle bespoke cocktails, rare spirits, dietary restrictions, and special occasions with professionalism.

As a Bartender at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $25.75 per hour.

What you'll do

• Our Bartenders deliver an exceptional and personalized bar experience to every guest, bringing craft, confidence and discretion to each interaction while maintaining a safe and immaculate environment throughout their shift.
• Bartenders keep the bar area pristine and impeccably presented at all times, in accordance with food safety guidelines and the requirements of the local health department.
• Maintaining an accurate cash drawer throughout their shift and being able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally is an essential part of the Bartenders' role.
• The Supper Club guests have specific and discerning requests, from bespoke cocktails and rare spirits to dietary restrictions and special occasions. Our Bartenders handle each with deep knowledge and the quiet professionalism that defines The Supper Club experience.
• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Bartenders are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Bartenders maintain seamless communication with the service team, management, and the extended hotel team to ensure every aspect of the guest experience is perfectly aligned.
• Our Bartenders are genuinely passionate about what they do. They represent The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride, always upholding the principles, goals and policies of The Beverly Hills Hotel Pledge.
• The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, Bartenders are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
