Job summary

Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport is seeking a friendly bartender to join SPIRE Hospitality's team. You will provide guests with exceptional service, prepare beverage orders, balance checks, and maintain a well‑organized bar area across from Hollywood Burbank Airport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bartending certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year bartender experience, hotel experience preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and attentiveness.
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest.
• Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring all products are stocked and readily accessible.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas.

Essential Job Functions

Physical Demands

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk in confined space for whole shift
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred
• Minimum 1-year bartender experience in a similar role, size of operation required, hotel experience preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required
