Spire Hospitality’s hotel in California, located directly across from Hollywood Burbank Airport, seeks a personable bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced hospitality setting. The role involves preparing drinks, handling payments, and maintaining bar organization to support guest satisfaction.

You will monitor stock, reduce waste, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all bar areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred.
• Minimum 1-year bartender experience in similar role; hotel experience preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and thoughtful attentiveness.
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest.
• Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring all products are stocked and readily accessible.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas.

Education

Job description

Located directly across from Hollywood Burbank Airport, our hotel is within minutes of Universal Studios Hollywood, the North Hollywood Arts District, and Burbank Town Center. It offers 395 rooms, extensive event space, restaurants, bar, and coffee shop.

Compensation

$17.00 per hour.

• Shift: Sunday and Monday evenings

Responsibilities

Physical Demands

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift.
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment.
