Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a bartender in the United States in Washington, DC area to serve beverages and/or food with a focus on guest satisfaction. You will maintain a clean bar, check IDs, prepare drinks, and support inventory while adhering to EarthView sustainability guidelines.

Qualified candidates have bartending or mixology experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Food Sanitation certificate within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending or mixology experience required or equivalent training.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Food Sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Assist with beverage inventory and par levels.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
