Job summary

HHM Hospitality is hiring a bartender in New York. You will serve beverages and/or food with a focus on guest satisfaction, maintain bar cleanliness, verify age requirements, and handle orders and payments.

You will garnish drinks, manage inventory, adhere to EarthView sustainability guidelines, and follow safety standards. Prior bartending experience and relevant certifications are preferred, with sanitation certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• TIPS certified a plus.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organize bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take beverage orders and serve/clear food and beverages to guests seated at bar and lounge areas.
• Complete beverage inventory and related paperwork.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and support overall service goals.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
