Job summary

HRi Properties seeks an experienced Bartender to prepare and serve beverages in a fast-paced hotel bar setting in the United States. The role involves engaging guests, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and maintaining bar cleanliness.

The position requires at least 1 year of bartending or high-volume experience, knowledge of drinks and mixology, and comfort with POS systems. High school diploma is required; bartending certification is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
• Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
