Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a bartender to serve beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.

You will maintain clean bar areas, verify guest ages, prepare and serve orders, and assist with inventory while adhering to sustainability guidelines. A high school diploma is preferred, with TIPS certification a plus and food sanitation certification required within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• TIPS certification is a plus.
• Food Sanitation certificate is a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests when applicable.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing guest satisfaction.
• Assist with beverage inventory and follow EarthView sustainability guidelines.
