Job summary

Sofive in California is seeking a Bartender to join our high-energy soccer‑centered team, bringing enthusiasm, drink knowledge, and the ability to connect personally with guests and friends enjoying our vibrant environment. You will take orders, mix beverages, serve drinks and food, recommend menu items, and help build repeat clientele while maintaining pace and accuracy in a fast‑moving, guest‑focused setting.

Must be 21+ and reliable; a passion for soccer is a plus.

Qualifications

The Bartender blends equal parts enthusiasm, attention to detail, and knowledge of our developing food & beverage program. We count on you to create a unique, personal experience for each guest you encounter by making personal connections, garnished with a great attitude that brings folks back to Sofive!

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commonly ordered drinks and ability to make suggestions


• Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail


• Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives


• Basic knowledge of Point of Sale system


• Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule


• Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time


• Required: Minimum age of 21 years old


• Plus: appreciation for soccer!

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of current marketing initiatives and upcoming events in order to proactively inform guests and invite them back


• You are responsible for taking orders, making beverages for all guests, serving beverages, selling food, and building repeat clientele


• Ability to follow specific service time and guidelines while engaging guests and personalizing their experience


• Work as a contributing member of a team and communicate with management and serving reps to ensure effective customer flow


• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members and managers


• Ability to make suggestions and bring propositions to management to grow the business


• Cross training and mandatory cleaning are requirements of the role
