Job summary

Sofive, the home of 5-a-side soccer, is seeking a Bartender to join our energetic team at our Chicago location. You will take orders, craft beverages for guests, serve drinks, and contribute to a memorable guest experience in a fast-paced, soccer-loving environment.

The role emphasizes knowledge of drinks, fast service, reliability, and teamwork, with opportunities to engage guests, cross-sell food, and grow with a growing startup that values integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commonly ordered drinks and ability to make suggestions.
• Time management and organization with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives.
• Basic knowledge of Point of Sale system.
• Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Plus: appreciation for soccer!

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of current marketing initiatives and upcoming events in order to proactively inform guests and invite them back.
• You are responsible for taking orders, making beverages for all guests, serving beverages, selling food, and building repeat clientele.
• Ability to follow specific service time and guidelines while engaging guests and personalizing their experience.
• Work as a contributing member of a team and communicate with management and serving reps to ensure effective customer flow.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members and managers.
• Ability to make suggestions and bring propositions to management to grow the business.
• Cross training and mandatory cleaning are requirements of the role
