Job summary

The Yogo Inn in Lewistown, MT is looking for a bartender to join our team on a part-time to full-time basis. Shifts include afternoons or evenings on a variable schedule, and compensation starts at $12.00 per hour plus tips.

Candidates should have customer service or bartending experience, be familiar with liquor laws, and be able to count money and handle transactions. You will prepare drinks, know the menu, and keep the bar clean and welcoming. Optional events at catered functions are possible.

Qualifications

• Customer service and/or bartending experience required.
• Awareness of and compliance with all liquor laws, inter-state guidelines, policies and procedures is required.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to accurately count money and efficiently process transactions using company systems.
• Ability to operate bar equipment.

• Provide excellent customer service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously serving guests in a can-do fashion, engaging in polite conversation when time allows.
• Be fully informed of beverage and menu offerings, in anticipation of guest needs and to deliver highly attentive service.
• Prepare drinks for cocktail service orders and have a passion for mixology.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment which includes managing people with discretion and professionalism and occasionally diffusing difficult situations.
• Ensure the bar and its equipment are clean and fully functional.
• This position may include tending a portable bar at catered events.

WAGE: $12.00/ hr (or more depending on experience), plus tips. This bar has a history of excellent tips for good bartenders.
