Job summary

RMGS, Inc. is seeking a Barracks Manager in Mississippi to ensure safe, clean, and orderly housing for residents. You will manage check-in/check-out, berthing records, and guest services while coordinating maintenance and supply logistics.

This role requires an active security clearance, strong English communication, and the ability to work non-standard hours, including occasional evenings or weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a focus on safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance (or equivalent)
• Excellent English communication; Spanish for some roles
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
• Ability to meet physical demands and work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to work non-standard schedules (nights/weekends)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications
• Ability to maintain professional conduct and follow regulations
• Experience with facility key security systems and berthing records
• Experience managing supplies and logistics for a facility
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the barracks to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly living environment
• Oversee resident check-in and check-out processes, room assignments, linens, and briefings
• Maintain berthing and personnel tracking records
• Serve as primary customer service contact for lodging concerns and inquiries
• Operate barracks key control program including electronic key cards
• Coordinate maintenance and repair requests with facility staff
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and grounds
• Assist with ordering and inventory of supplies
• Support command functions and events including occasional evenings or weekends
• Perform travel and driving duties as needed
• Help develop and enforce barracks SOPs
