Food City is hiring for a Starbucks Barista to create the Starbucks experience for shoppers in Maynardville, TN. You will provide prompt service, craft quality beverages and products, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment in-store.

Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing and serving beverages, handling POS transactions, and ensuring food safety and recipe presentation standards while showing a friendly, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience is a plus, but not required.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders, ensure orders are completed in a timely manner, and to the customers’ satisfaction.
• Prepare, bagging, pouring, and stocking Starbucks products, rotating items to ensure product quality and safety.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow associates.
• Engage with customers, offering product information and samples, using suggestive selling techniques.
• Process cash register transactions using POS system.
• Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products per recipes and presentation standards.
