Job summary

Food City is seeking a Starbucks barista to create a welcoming in-store experience by delivering prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean environment for shoppers. You will prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages, stock products, and follow Starbucks recipes to ensure consistency.

This role requires on-site availability, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to learn the menu. Prior coffee or food service experience helps, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food service/coffee experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes and preparation steps.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to support the store mission.
• Take orders, complete them promptly to customer satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks beverages and related products.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Engage customers with product information and suggestive selling.
• Process cash register transactions using the POS system.
• Ensure quality beverages and foods by following recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and follow food safety procedures.
• Attend on-site during scheduled shifts to comply with attendance policies.
