Job summary

Food City in Kimball, TN is hiring for a Starbucks associate to deliver prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming store environment. You will handle orders, prepare and stock drinks, and maintain safety and recipe standards.

You will engage customers with product information, use suggestive selling, and process transactions while upholding Food City and Starbucks values. On-site shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Service/Coffee experience a plus, but not required.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt customer service to support the mission to Run the Best Store in Town.
• Take orders, ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products with quality control.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude toward customers and associates.
• Engage customers with product information and suggestive selling.
• Process cash register transactions using POS system.
• Adhere to recipe and presentation standards for beverages and food items.
• Promote Food City and Starbucks culture and values.
• Follow safety procedures and operate all tools and equipment properly.
• Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts according to attendance policies.
