Jerry's Foods Edina (Starbucks kiosk) in Minnesota is hiring a part-time team member who loves serving customers and building friendly, lasting connections. You will prepare coffee drinks, handle light breakfast items, and help keep the store inviting and well‑stocked.

This role requires reliability, a flexible schedule, and teamwork. Training in food safety and perishable inventory will support your growth, with opportunities to advance as you contribute to a fast-paced, customer‑facing

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing demeanor preferred for customer interaction.
• Food safety training completed or required.
• Willingness to grow and learn within the role.
• Understands perishable inventory procedures and proper temperature controls.
• Understands and follows food safety requirements including temperature monitoring and recording.
• Can execute Food & Beverage processes including replenishment, stocking, zoning, and backstock management.

Job Details

Location: Jerry's Foods Edina (Starbucks kiosk)

Reports to: Coffee Shop Manager

Classification: Part Time

Union Rate of Pay: Progressive scale from $16.00 - $18.00 / hour, based on experience

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Job Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with our customers
• Prepare coffee products including a variety of hot and cold drinks and some breakfast foods
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs)
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
• Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled

• Is friendly and outgoing and promotes customer service for the entire team
• Attended Food Safety training
• Is motivated to grow their career and continue learning
• Understands and follows proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure an accurate recording of inventory
• Understands and follows all food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items as outlined in our best practices
• Can execute Food & Beverage processes including FDC/RDC replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, in-stock routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, item removal, signing and backstock

Position functions and physical responsibilities may vary by store location.

Physical Demands

• FREQUENT: Physical lifting/carrying to 25 lbs. walking, reaching, standing, turning, grasping, equipment operation: Equipment Operation scanner, register, telephone, intercom, box cutter, coffee equipment
• OCCASIONAL: Physical lifting/carrying over 25 lbs., stooping, bending, squatting
• **FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift
• **OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift
