Job summary

Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. in Bloomington is offering a part-time position at Cub Foods Bloomington. You will assist with pricing accuracy, hang shelf tags, and help keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires reliable attendance, teamwork, and strong customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience. Weekly hours are varied with a progressive wage scale up to $19.10 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and ability to engage with customers.
• Familiarity with pricing, scanning, and shelf tagging processes.
• Ability to bend, lift up to 20 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prices on shelves reflect accurately at register.
• Hang shelf tags throughout the store (bending, stooping, kneeling).
• Help maintain a clean and safe store.
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department.
• Be punctual and ready for shifts.

Reports to: Pricing Coordinator

Classification: Part Time

Union Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $19.10 hour / depending on experience

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Position functions and physical requirements may vary between locations.

Frequent:

• Physical lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs. pushing/pulling to 30 force pounds reaching, standing, turning
• Equipment Operation scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine
• Mental judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math

Occasional:

• Physical lifting/carrying over 50 lbs. squatting, stooping/bending, walking
• Equipment Operation calculator

Environmental exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces

FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift

OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift
