Job summary

Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Bar Back for Orion's Roof on the Virginia Beach boardwalk.

The role supports bartenders by stocking, prepping garnishes, and maintaining bar cleanliness and safety in a busy oceanfront setting. Experience preferred; strong guest communication and physical stamina required; schedule includes on-site shifts.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to ensure proper delivery amounts.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle knives, glassware, and kegs.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves orders from storeroom and checks against requisition.
• Preps garnishes and pours juices per projected business.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar area and storage.
• Replenishes supplies and restocks ice and utensils.
• Assists bartender and transports kegs as needed.
