Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Server Assistant for the Orion's Roof at the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort in Virginia Beach, VA. You will assist the Outlet Manager and restaurant servers to maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment and deliver attentive service to guests.

Qualified candidates demonstrate knowledge of service ware, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to move or push up to 150 lbs with a hand cart/truck.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly, and prepare them for use.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods.
• Serve beverages, bread and butter, and replenish as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
