Job summary

Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort is seeking an energetic bar support team member to assist bartenders in delivering exceptional guest service on the Virginia Beach boardwalk. You will help with stock, ice, and drink prep while maintaining a clean, inviting bar area.

The role requires strong communication with guests, basic math for portion control, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Hotel/food service experience preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartender in serving guests and ensuring a positive experience.
• Retrieves and organizes supplies for the bar area.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar, seating, and storage areas.
• Replenish stock and check against requisitions.
• Support bartenders with drink prep and ice replenishment.
• Comply with health and safety standards and attendance rules.
