Job summary

Tonto Verde is seeking a Bar Manager to lead all bar operations and ensure an exceptional member experience. You will oversee inventory, staff development, and beverage quality while collaborating with the General Manager and Executive Chef to support dining venues, special events, and member activities.

Responsibilities include team coaching, pre-shift education, menu development, cost control, and adherence to liquor laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in bar management, preferably in a private club or upscale hospitality.
• Deep knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails.
• Experience with inventory, purchasing, and staff development.
• Arizona Title 4 certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead bar operations and ensure exceptional member/guest experiences.
• Train and coach bartenders and bar staff; conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Develop seasonal beverage menus and ensure quality presentation.
• Monitor beverage costs, inventory, and purchase records.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards for bar areas.
• Coordinate with dining, banquet, and culinary teams for events and programming.
• Ensure compliance with Arizona liquor laws and club policies.
