Job summary

Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, FL is seeking a Bar Manager to oversee the club's bar and beverage outlets, delivering exceptional member and guest service while upholding high standards of quality and profitability.

You will manage daily bar operations, train staff, supervise beverage purchasing and inventory, and coordinate service for events and private functions with the Food & Beverage team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all assigned bar and beverage outlets.
• Provide a high level of personalized service to club members and guests while maintaining the club’s service standards.
• Hire, train, schedule, coach and supervise bartenders and staff.
• Develop and maintain beverage menus, specialty cocktails, wine selections, and other beverage offerings.
• Manage beverage purchasing, receiving, storage, and inventory levels.
• Monitor beverage costs, pricing, portion control, waste, and overall profitability.
• Coordinate service for club events, tournaments, banquets, and private functions with F&B leadership.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and appearance throughout bar areas.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol-service laws, club policies and safety regulations.
• Monitor member feedback and address service concerns.
• Assist with onboarding of new bartenders and drink preparers.
• Assist with event setup and moving furniture as needed in collaboration with F&B Management.
