POSITION SUMMARY

The Bar Manager is responsible for supporting the Club’s bar operations while providing an exceptional experience for members and guests. This position helps maintain consistent service standards, manages beverage inventory and supplies, and ensures bar areas are clean, organized, and ready for service.

The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys working with people, provides exceptional service, and is comfortable balancing hands‑on service with the day‑to‑day responsibilities of maintaining an efficient bar operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure a high level of service for members and guests.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional, and well‑organized bar environment.
• Monitor beverage inventory and assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory controls.
• Maintain appropriate product levels while helping control waste and beverage costs.
• Ensure consistent drink preparation, presentation, and service standards.
• Assist with beverage selections, seasonal offerings, and drink specials.
• Coordinate bar service for regular dining, member events, tournaments, and special functions.
• Provide hands‑on bartending and service support as needed.
• Respond professionally to member and guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service requirements, sanitation standards, and Club policies.
• Work collaboratively with Food & Beverage leadership and other departments to support Club operations.
• Perform other duties based on the needs of the Club or as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous bartending and beverage service experience required.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, club, resort, hotel, or similar hospitality environment preferred.
• Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Experience with beverage inventory and point‑of‑sale systems preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with beverage service.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required by Club operations.
