Job summary

AHC Hospitality in Grand Rapids seeks an experienced Assistant Manager for Ruth's Chris and Lumber Baron outlets to lead guest service, training, and daily operations. You will oversee bar operations, staff scheduling, cost control, and event coordination while upholding brand standards and the Ruth's Chris culture.

Qualifications

• TIPS Certified and Serve Safe Manager Certified.
• Ability to read and comprehend a P&L.
• Experience with conflict resolution in the workplace.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; wine knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and implement new bar systems and structures.
• Keep bar current with local events and community involvement.
• Coordinate between management, staff, and vendors for tastings and presentations.
• Ensure brand compliance and training for new bartenders.
• Oversee social media content to boost visibility and traffic.
• Print and maintain current cocktail and wine menus; manage inventory.
