Kessler Hotels is seeking a skilled Cook for the Beaver Creek Lodge Autograph Collection, delivering high-quality kitchen preparation, buffet display, and banquet service. You will maintain sanitary kitchen practices, adhere to recipes, and support multiple stations while upholding safety and efficiency.

The role requires culinary experience, flexibility with hours, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel kitchen with strong attention to detail. Benefits are available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium exertion up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for entire shift.
• Able to handle temperature variations.
• Thorough knowledge of menus and required preparation.
• Proficiency in charbroiling, poaching, deep-frying, sauté, braising, roasting, and par-cooking.
• Knowledge of herbs and spices and proper use.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare and complete food and station prep before opening to ensure prompt service.
• Prepare and display buffet items according to hotel standards.
• Recognize quality standards in vegetables, fish, dairy and meat products.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment with proper handling and storage.
• Prepare food for Banquets and Employee Cafeteria as specified by leadership.
• Follow standard recipes and assist in storage/rotation of items.
• Break down buffets and kitchen line and store equipment properly after service.
• Operate and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment.
