Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Texas seeks a Banquets Manager: Operations - Food & Beverage to lead event staffing, room setup, and service standards across all banquet functions.

You will coordinate with Event Management, culinary, and service teams, ensuring timely communication, accurate staffing, and flawless execution from setup to breakdown. Strong leadership and communication are required to drive payroll, scheduling, and staff development.

• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Comprehend reading materials, speak, read and write English.
• Neat in appearance and well groomed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and environmentally responsible work environment.

Responsabilités

• Review all written communication to determine staffing levels, room assignments, and banquet set-ups.
• Communicate changes within Banquet Department and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen and supportive departments before and during events.
• Provide daily/weekly information to Director of Food & Beverage and staff.
• Ensure proper setup of all functions and maintain standards for food, beverage and meeting specs.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and quality standards in the department.
• Delegate and distribute operation requirements to staff and ensure coverage.
• Hire, discipline, evaluate, and manage staff actions fairly and professionally.
• Maintain staff training, schedules, payroll reporting, and time keeping.
• Inspect banquet areas and communicate information to line staff.
• Attend Food & Beverage meetings and relay information to staff.
